Part I: Industry Regulation

Make sure you have read the Professor Notes for Chapter 4, specifically the topic — Industry Research.  Go to the Business Guides by Industry at the U.S. Small Business Administration website — SBA Business Guides by Industry. (This page is under the “Starting and Managing a Business” topic and under the “Managing a Business” sub-topic).  Pick an industry that interests you and read the article.  

1. Explain one regulation that impacts this industry. Include the following
2. (a) the name of the administrative agency,
3. (b) the name of the regulation,
4. (c) a description of the regulation, and
5. (d) your thoughts about the reasoning for the regulation (personal opinions here are fine).
6. Repeat #1 with another regulation
7. Repeat #2 with another regulation
